Welcome to Christy's Devotional!

Thank you so much for joining my blog. Please be patient with me as a navigate something totally new for me. I have always enjoyed writing and have been able to use this in various ways over the years, but this last year I have had more time to spend focusing on it. I appreciate all of the encouragement you have all given me more than I can tell you. As I look around I see a world full of hurting, scared, lonely, disillusioned people. I am more convinced than ever that the only answer to the problems we face is Jesus. In a world filled with lies and deception, the source of truth is God’s Word. You don’t need to know my opinions or what I think about politics or healthcare or any other topic. My opinion does not matter at all. The only thing that matters is what God’s Word says. My goal in this blog is to point people to Jesus and His Word. The more time we spend with our Heavenly Father, the more we experience His peace that transcends understanding. Our problems may not go away, but He will give us the wisdom, strength and ability to deal with everything we face. I welcome any input, questions and suggestions you may have as we delve into God’s Word together.
