The Lord Hears

“To you I call, O Lord my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit.” Psalm 28:1

We are reminded over and over in scripture that God hears the cries of His people. “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17 “In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God. From His temple, He heard my voice; my cry came to His ears.” II Samuel 22:7 “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer.” I Peter 3:12 “In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” Psalm 5:3 “Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for Himself; the Lord will hear when I call to Him.” Psalm 4:3 “But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.” Micah 7:7 My God does not turn a deaf ear to me. He hears every cry that comes out from my mouth and every prayer that is in my heart. Thank you Jesus that I can know you will answer when I call. The answer may not come in the way or the time that I want, but I am assured that you hear and will respond to me.
